Dr. Alexander would like to thank you for spending this time visiting his website. He welcomes your comments and questions, and looks forward to meeting you in person.
Cosmetic surgery can not only enhance or improve your appearance but can also help you look as young and fabulous as you feel. Whether you want a more voluptuous or a slimmer figure, smaller nose or perkier breasts, fuller buttocks or smooth wrinkles and tighten sagging skin, Dr. Alexander can help you achieve the appearance you desire.
Dr. Alexander believes that honest information about cosmetic surgery is necessary to ensure that his patients will make well-inform choices and will attain the best results possible and is also essential to help patients to understand the specific goals of the discussed procedure, and the reasons why alternative procedures are not suitable or shouldn't been chosen. Dr. Timothy Alexander works closely with each patient to develop an individualized plan of treatment to help him or her to achieve a natural post-surgical look which will enhance rather than change the patient's appearance. And when the procedure is performed, it is carried out with all of Dr. Alexander's experience and exceptional technical skills in a fully licensed and accredited outpatient surgery facility and Board Certified M.D. Anesthesiologists.
The right candidate for cosmetic surgery - as with all elective surgery - is the patient who understands that good health and realistic expectation are the most important pre-requisites.

Scarring:
Keloid and Hypertrophic Scars
Keloids:
Are raised scars that grow beyond the original wound or point of incision.
Hypertrophic Scars:
Appear raised but stay within the confines of the initial wound or point of incision.
Both keloid and hypertrophic scars can occur during the healing process, and although no one can predict who will develop these scars, most commonly happen to African Americans and Hispanics. There are post-operative treatment options which include topical and injectable medications, or surgical removal.
Deciding to undergo any cosmetic operation is a balance of compromises: the scar for the excision vs. the benefit of the procedure.
